Electron Microscopy Group

The group is interested in developing methods for analysis of microscopy data. Group members contributed to the growth of Hyperspy, an open source project for a Python-based suite for the treatment of multi-dimensional data, including spectroscopic and diffraction studies.

Hyperspy implements different algorithms, generally within the umbrella term of multivariate analysis (MVA). These include, at the moment, PCA (Principal Component Analysis) and NMF (Non-negative Matrix Factorisation).

For more information on Hyperspy and multivariate analysis, you can refer to:

If you are using Hyperspy to treat your data, please acknowledge it in your references. The preferred format for citation is described here: http://hyperspy.org/hyperspy-doc/current/citing.html
